Editorial Policy

Independent GTA VI fan resources and coverage.

The Leonida Daily is a small, hands-on operation — currently two to three people handling sourcing, writing, and review. That size is deliberate: it means every story is actually read and checked by someone before it publishes, rather than passing through an anonymous, automated pipeline.

Sourcing Standards

For our core beat, Grand Theft Auto VI, we treat sources in three tiers:

Official — Rockstar Games’ own statements, trailers, and announcements. Always our first check.
Insider/leaker — individuals with a public track record of accurate previous leaks. We weigh a claim by that track record, not just by how widely it’s being shared.
Unverified/rumor — anything that doesn’t fit the above. We either hold it until it’s corroborated by an established outlet, or publish it explicitly labeled as an unconfirmed rumor.

For our broader gaming and entertainment coverage, we apply the same logic: official sources first, established outlets second, and clear labeling whenever something is still unconfirmed.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by whoever is writing and reviewing a given story — not by advertisers or sponsors. We run ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free to read, but ad placement has no input into what we cover or how. Any paid or sponsored content will be labeled as such; see our Advertising Disclosure.

Review Before Publishing

With a team this size, review isn’t a formality — every article is read by at least one other person on the team besides the writer before it goes live, checking facts, labeling, and clarity. For fast-moving GTA VI news specifically, we’d rather publish slightly later and correct than rush and mislead.

Opinion vs. News

Analysis or opinion pieces are labeled as such in the article itself and kept separate from straight news reporting.
