GTA 6 Launch Trailer Views in 24 Hours Crosses 25 Million Mark on YouTube

GTA 6 launch trailer views in 24 hours is one of the biggest queries among fans of Rockstar. The latest trailer has collected over 25.27 million views on YouTube (globally), with 1.43 million likes in the first 24 hours.

Rockstar Games uploaded it on Thursday, October 15, 2026, five weeks before the title arrives exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. It’s likely the last trailer by the company before the game launches in November.

The trailer also revealed a fresh original track, “Flower in a Hurricane,” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. More on the original score will soon be revealed by Rockstar.

The launch trailer’s 25.27 million YouTube views are far behind the view count of Trailer 1 in its first 24-hour window. GTA 6 Trailer 1 gained over 93 million views on YouTube in 24 hours, according to YouTube, and Guinness World Records mentioned 90,421,491 as the official count for it.

If compared with the first trailer, the launch trailer reached about 27% of that in terms of views, with the likes at about 16% of Trailer 1’s 8.9 million.

We can’t compare the GTA 6 launch trailer with Trailer 2, as we don’t know its official YouTube view count for the first 24 hours. Rockstar told The Hollywood Reporter the trailer received over 475 million views across all platforms in the first day.

Here’s a table that gives you a better idea of the views and likes for each GTA 6 trailer published.

On YouTube, GTA 6’s first trailer holds the record for most views for a video game trailer in the first 24 hours on the platform, and it also holds the record for the most likes in the first day. The record belongs to the title’s first trailer, so a direct comparison with the launch trailer doesn’t make sense.

The launch trailer has garnered over 119 million views across all platforms in 24 hours, according to the GTA 6 Updates account on X.

Here’s the views breakdown mentioned by them:

  • YouTube: 25.1 million (25.27 million, reported by us)
  • X: 42 millionInstagram: 34 million
  • TikTok: 8.6 million
  • Facebook: 9.8 million

Rockstar is yet to reveal details on the official view count across all platforms.

We also can’t compare Trailer 2 with the launch trailer because the 475 million views were counted across all platforms, and there’s no official update for the latest one by Rockstar Games.

Considering it as a third trailer, the views are good, as it managed to cross the 25 million mark with more than 1.4 million likes on YouTube itself.
